Abstract

In November 2025, the meeting to strengthen the pilot reform of education for consolidating a sense of community for the Chinese nation clearly stated that it is necessary to promote a systematic leap in this education from "tangible to perceptible" and from "perceptible to effective". This necessary indication shows that colleges and universities in the new era should enhance education with a sense of social responsibility for the Chinese nation. As the basic idea and general direction of ideological and political education in colleges and universities in the new era, "Three Comprehensive Education" is in harmony with and serves this educational cause. In accordance with the concept of "Three Comprehensive Education", this paper systematically studies the practical paths for promoting education in the sense of community for the Chinese nation in colleges and universities from three dimensions: comprehensive education for all staff, comprehensive education at every stage of life, and comprehensive education in all aspects. To this end, we will strengthen the cultivation of students' learning and application abilities by deepening their sense of meaning in learning and thereby enable them to take an active part in building a modern, high-quality Chinese civilization.
