Abstract

With the rapid socioeconomic development in China, the importance of psychological health education in higher education has become increasingly prominent and has attracted widespread attention. This study focuses on students in vocational colleges to deeply explore the significance and role of moral and ideological education within their psychological health education. Through survey methods and theoretical analysis, the research reveals the intrinsic connection between moral and ideological education and students' psychological health in vocational colleges. It also emphatically discusses the functional mechanism of moral and ideological education in promoting the psychological health development of these students. The findings indicate that moral and ideological education in vocational colleges plays a significant positive role in stabilizing and developing students' psychological health. It can effectively regulate students' behavioral attitudes, enhance their adaptability, strengthen their ability to cope with stress and solve problems, and contribute to maintaining and improving their psychological well-being. The results of this study not only provide positive guidance and impetus for educators in vocational colleges to understand and recognize the critical importance and necessity of moral and ideological education in students' psychological health education but also offer valuable reference for schools and society to collaboratively foster a suitable environment conducive to the healthy growth of students.
